A development of 48 self contained en-suite bedrooms designed to HCA and CQS standards arranged within clustered arrangements.

Developed on a brownfield 0.5 acre site in North Tyneside, bedrooms are arranged in clusters of either 6 or 8 rooms, each with private en-suite and further shared facilities to comprise assisted bathroom with rise and fall accessible bath, kitchen, dining area, lounge, medication and administration office.

Our design approach arranges each of the varying cluster arrangements, as well as a central hub building about a central landscaped area. The collection of clusters evoke a residential feel similar to the exiting site context, creating a small mews cul-de-sac with a semi secure point of access. The architectural style creates a non-institutional environment which is complimented with integrated links to the external landscaping and semi-private courtyards.
