A bespoke three storey extension of an end terrace residence in Gateshead.

Our intervention infills this vacant space adjacent to an existing end terrace, responding to the context by following the building line in elevation and in section. The design intention is to follow the vernacular of agricultural / industrial buildings within the local area to reflect the economic and historic principles of the surrounding area.
