A visionary project and idea conceived as part of a series of urban design initiatives to celebrate the one year anniversary of the opening of our Studio BT48 in Northern Ireland, the redevelopment of Waterloo Place in Derry, sees a significant new intervention to the 2,500sqft city centre site within the conservation area.
Neglected due to the introduction of new shopping centres such as Ricmond Centre and Foyleside, our proposals draw from the catalyst of the Peace Bridge across the River Foyle and seek to re-connect the city through quality public realm and a diverse mixed use regeneration development.
