Located next to the Department of Physics on South Road, the home of the Institute for Computational Cosmology, one of the world’s premier theoretical cosmology groups, and the only Institute for Particle Physics Phenemenology globally, The £12M University of Durham Ogden Centre for Fundamental Physics is completed and handover.

Following Concept Design by Studio Daniel Libeskind, GRADONARCHITECTURE were appointed by main contractors, Interserve Construction Ltd, to assist in the delivery and coordination of the complex external envelope. A complicated interplay of colliding geometric interfaces, in steel, timber and curtain walling, our use of BIM proves invaluable to the delivery of the building as a whole.
