A planning application for a highly crafted single storey extension and detached garage to a Grade II listed property in West Boldon has been submitted this week and we are delighted with the result!

Downhill Cottage is one of two lodge buildings situated at the entrance to Downhill Farm with views over open countryside on the edge of the settlement.

Internally the spaces have been arranged to maximize functionality of the ground floor accommodation. The proposals create a free-flowing open plan kitchen and snug area, to include adequate dining facilities, whilst addressing the the southern aspect of the site and frames views out the garden and terrace.
